The Background
The 2018-19 season should be a very productive year for the Lions. They are returning their top two scorers (Devin Daversa & Mike Donahue) and with the addition of a legitimate threat from the outside and some defensive minded athletes they are looking to go further than the district semis. The Lions have put together a very tough schedule which includes playing 2 teams in 9A (largest classification in FL) and 3 teams in 7A (3rd largest classification in FL). This year’s team consists of 7 seniors, 4 juniors and 1 sophomore and are hungry to make a run to the state playoffs.

Devin Daversa, G, Sr,
Devin is the leading returning scorer in Volusia County at 17.5 and leader in steals with 3.5 in 2017-2018. He is a two year starter for the Lions. He is an excellent defender and excels in the open floor. https://www.hudl.com/v/2AvBfx
Mike Donahue, F, Sr.
Mike is a returning starter and versatile forward who has the ability to score on all three levels. He is a tenacious rebounder and has the knack to always find his open teammate. https://www.hudl.com/v/2AyNKT
Max Oles, G, Jr.
Max is know for his sharpshooting ability and set a record at his previous school with 10 3’s in a game last year. He has been a key addition for us. https://www.hudl.com/v/2AzeQb
Isaiah Williams, F, Sr.
Isaiah is the inside presence we definitely needed this year. He has been consistent both on the offensive and defensive glass. At 6’4, he has the uncanny ability to get great position and finish against much taller defenders. https://www.hudl.com/v/2Az08N
