The Background

The Denmark High School boys basketball team will look to rely on a full-team effort to be successful this season. Being a brand new school, the team only has 2 players with varsity experience coming from other programs. Coach Whitlock believes that they will overcome this inexperience by playing hard and playing together. The Danes are setting their sights on being competitive in Region 7-AAAA, with hopes of making the state playoffs in their first season. They will look to Sutton Smith (Sophomore- PG), Adrian Gutierrez (Junior- Wing), and Adonnis Tolbert (Junior- Wing/Post) for floor leadership.
