Players To Watch

Marcus Foster 6’4 184 lbs Guard

Marcus,  Furman University commit, was our leading scorer and rebounder from a season ago. He averaged 19.6 points and 7.5 rebounds a game. He came on in his Sophomore year after a quiet Freshmen campaign. He took a great spring and summer and parlayed that into a productive recruiting process. He has an 81 inch wing span which allows him to finish at different angles and launch from long distance with a high arching release.

Asher McGee 6’4 185 lbs Guard Senior

Asher is a 2 time all 5-A region teamer. He has a consistent mid range game that he uses to get to his 17ppg career average. He is a legit 2 guard with explosion and power around the rim. He has the ability to guard spots 1-4 for us and he plays the passing lanes very well.

Jaydin Beasley 6’2 172 lbs Guard Senior

Beasley as he is called by his teammates, is the heart of this team, he is a strong defender and tough competitor. He has the ability to knock down shots from the attention that Marcus and Asher receive.

JaKobe Strozier 6’3 170 lbs Guard Freshmen

The reigning APS Middle School Player of the Year, comes to the high school level with the physical gifts to compete at the next level. Having the size helps with that transition as most guards aren’t his size yet alone freshmen. He has a mature game with the ability to make plays at all levels of scoring. Still young hi toughest transition will be on defense where guarding more seasoned players will be a test.
