Season Outlook:
–2018-19 RECORD/ACCOMPLISHMENTS: 29-2, Region 8-AAAA Champions, 5A State Champions
– SEASON OUTLOOK: After winning the 5A State Championship and the Region 8 Championship for the past three years, Buford should stay true to form with many experienced players returning for this seasons challenging schedule to continue the Lady Wolve’s tradition and style of play. The players may change, but the expectations will stay the same. Led by seniors Tate Walters a Furman commit, and Katelyn Klein along with a battle tested junior class, the Lady Wolves should be in the hunt again for success in this year’s version of Buford Basketball. As with any team under Durden, expect Buford to play an aggressive, hustling, pressing defense from the full court to the half court. The Lady Wolves will also play a fast-paced transition game on offense. The Lady Wolves will try to wear teams down with defensive and offensive pressure and player depth. A challenging schedule which includes state powers, Norcross, Holy Innocents, Jefferson, Wesleyan, North Forsyth, and GAC should prepare the Lady Wolves for another post season run.
