Available Seniors (December 4th, 2024)

Young, Heller, Etter (Etowah)

Etowah High School is consistently one of the most well balanced and well coached teams in the GA every year and it’s no surprise they have gotten off to a hot start.  Etowah is led by a number of prospects including 2025 Aidan Weaver (UAH Commit), 2026 William and 3 extremely talented college level available seniors in Alex Young, Cooper Heller, and Colton Etter with different players stepping up each game.

Alex Young

After spending his first 3 years at Brookwood High School where he was a multi time All Region wing Young made his way to Etowah for his Senior season.  The High Academic prospect has started the year with a bang to the tune of 21pts/19rebounds/2ast/2st in a win vs Sequoyah and 22pts/10reb/7ast in a win over McDonough,12pts/10reb vs River Ridge,  Has good size on the wing and shoots it extremely well from 3 with deep range.  His size lends to his ability to be effective on the glass where you always must box him out on the offensive glass.  His size and improved strength over the last few years has contributed to his ability to score at the rim through contact.  Young is currently averaging 16.2ppg/10.3ppg (Click Here to see early season highlights)

Cooper Heller

Through the first 5 games of the season he is averaging 17.2ppg/3.1apg/2.8spg/4.2rpg while shooting 50+ percent from 3 and nearly 60% from the floor.  He shoots it exceptionally well from 3 with a quick release and deep range both off the move as well as using his hesitation dribble.  He is quick with the ball in his hands in transition.  He is playing with a great deal of confidence right now and has visibly gotten stronger which allows him to more effectively turn the corner and get his shoulder by his defender to get into the lane where he always has his head on the swivel looking for cutters for lobs or kickouts to open teammates. Top performances to start the season 20pts/3reb (14pts in the 4th quarter) vs River Ridge and 18pts/9reb/3ast/3stls vs McDonough.

Colton Etter

Etter is the definition of stat stuffer, he is currently averaging 6.4ppg,7.1rpg,6.1apg with a +3 assist/turnover ratio with a +/- of +20 a game.  He can effectively play the 1-3 and is a connector on the offensive end of the floor constantly moving the ball.  He plays the game the right way on both ends and really excels at finding teammates for open shots in Etowah’s sets. Top performance so far this season 17pts/8reb/3ast/3stls vs Sequoyah

Miles George (Sprayberry)

One of the top guards we saw all Spring/Summer when we covered the On The Radar Hoops circuit was George who consistently put up big numbers regardless who his SEBA Team was up against.  Last season as a Junior he averaged 16.5ppg/5rpg/2spg and was named 1st Team All Region, Second Team All Cobb County, and Region Player of Year Runner up and through 5 games to start his senior year he is averaging close to 20ppg to go along with 6rpg. He is in constant attack mode when he has the ball and has a variety of ways to score off the bounce.  He can excel at either guard position do to his scoring ability/skill at which he can attack the paint and collapse the defense.

Ishindi Sakulanda (Centennial)

One of GA’s bigger sleepers coming into the season he has been a standout at a number of our events this Fall including our #SHReportShowcase in September and our Team Jamboree in October.  Long lanky left handed Wing/Forward who plays with a constant high motor on both ends of the floor.  Has a quick first step he uses to create space on his drives.  Does a really job putting the ball on the floor getting into the midrange where he scores it really well around in the 10-12ft range.  When he gets all the way to the rim he has the ability to finish with either hand in traffic.  Currently Averaging 16.6 PPG: 66.7% 2FG, 56% 3FG.
