June Summary from Coach Thomas
“We like to spend the first 2 weeks focusing on player and scheme development. From there, we try to play as many games as we can to try different lineups, work on potential new schemes, etc. This summer we will host a home round Robin, play in a round Robin at South Atlanta High School, attend 3 College Team Camps: Georgia State, Mercer, and UGA. We will participate in a D2, NAIA, and JUCO event at Archer High School. We will play in the Hoop Explosion sponsored by the Georgia Hoop Circle and SUVTV on June 20 at Riverwood High School, thanks to Coach Cabral Huff. We are excited to play in the first ever GHSA sponsored Live Period event as well. By the end of the summer, we should have an idea what we did well and what we need to work on and I can give each kid feedback as to where they are and what they need to work on going forward.”
