June Summary from Coach Whitlock
Denmark Boys Basketball will hit the ground running this summer, jumping right into team practices and Individual skill development sessions that will start in the weight room. We will also be taking part in scrimmages against Lakeview Academy and Dawson County this summer, along with attending Wofford Team Camp the weekend before the GHSA-NCAA Team Camp June 21-23
Last Season Summary:
As a first year program with no seniors, the Denmark Danes finished the season with 24-7 record, winning the Region-7-AAAA Championship with an Elite 8 appearance in the GHSA State Playoffs. The Danes finished the season ranked #7 in final season polls.

Players to Watch
2021- Sutton Smith (PG)
Sutton was a GHSA All-State selection. He was also selected as the Region 7-AAAA Co-Player of the Year. Sutton has been playing extremely well this Spring and has picked up interest from University of Alabama-Huntsville
2022- Robert Cowherd (Wing)
Robert is coming to Denmark from Holy Spirit Prep, having played along side Anthony Edwards and helping his team reach the state championship game. Robert has been selected to participate in the SuperSophCamp, in which the Top 100 sophomores in the country will pariticipate. He has received interest from Michigan State.
2020- Adonnis Easton-Tolbert (Combo Player)
As a 6’7” Combo player, Adonnis has shown himself able to stretch the floor and is a very difficult matchup in the post. Adonnis has played well this spring, having picked up interest from Cornell, Columbus State, and Harvard.
2021- Joseph Scott (Combo Player)
Joseph is a late bloomer who has truly come into his own this Spring. Joseph is 6’5” and can stretch the floor, but also has the ability to get to the rim and finish.
2022- Maksim Vinogradov (Wing)
Max is a 6’4” rising sophomore who played an integral role in helping Denmark win a region championship and making an Elite 8 appearance in the state playoffs. He was considered as a selection for the 7-AAAA All-Region team. This spring, Max continues to show improvement in his ball-handling and shooting while continuing to play with a high motor.
