Hawks Naismith Top Performers

By Kris Watkins

The Hawks Naismith is one of the top events of the calendar year every year in GA that brings together some of the State’s Top Boys and Girls Teams on a big stage with countless Media Members in attendance.

2025 Chandler Bing (Pace Academy)

In a star studded overtime win over Holy Innocents’ Bing took full advantage of the stage and left no doubt his ability to produce at the next level. He finished with 37pts,5reb,2blks all while shooting an effective 4/6 from 3 and 7/11 from the free throw line. His shot looks good from range and can score from the wing or out of the midpost. He has a college ready frame to score through contact and take bumps on his drives to the rim.

2026 CJ Harper-Paideia

The left handed slashing guard consistently gets downhill on his attacks to the rim continually getting a paint touch. The athletically gifted prospect often times skies above the rim for defensive rebounds then pushes the tempo going the other way. Showed good court vision, especially in transition where he found teammates cutting to the rim multiple times. He finished the game with 14pts,9reb,4ast

2026 Adian Grady-Shiloh

Was huge in a come from behind victory scoring 20pts and going an efficient 5/7 from the floor and 7/8 from the free throw line. Really brought the generals back in the game in the second half due to his defensive ability netting 4 steals on the game. Shot it well from 3 and made a great play to seal the game with a baseline drive and drop off to Nicholas Johnson slashing to the rim.

2027 Kevin Savage-Wheeler

The left handed point guard is a pass first creator and floor general who really was locked in on defense. Does a good job finding his spots to score on offense shooting it well in catch and shoot situations from 3 and using his change of space on his drives.
