2021 Kowacie Reeves, Jr.

I think it is safe to say that Reeves is one of my favorite prospects in the 2021 class Nationally.  Reeves brings so much to the table each time he steps on the floor. Having had the chance to watch him not only in game settings numerous times over the last 2 years but also in skill stations at countless camps his overall demeanor and maturity continually shows.  At camps Reeves always the first to step up in drills and always takes advantage of every opportunity to get better. In terms of his overall game his improved strength really shows in his shot making ability help him become a deadly shot creator being able to score out of the pinch post which was a new aspect to his game that really stands out.  An outstanding shooter from 3 with great length and athleticism to get to his spots in the mid-range and finish at the rim makes him a three level scorer and one of the Nation’s top guard prospects. I think his most underrated aspect of his game outside of his high academics in the classroom is his defensive potential; his length and bounciness makes him a threat for helpside/transition blocks and makes him tough to get by for opposing guards when he is sitting down in his stance.  Reeves currently holds offers from schools in High Major conferences such as the ACC, SEC, Pac 12, and Big East, among others.

2021 Najhae Colon (Kell)

I remember calling Shun Williams, own of On The Radar Hoops, last June after watching Colon go head to head with Jaden Walker (Iowa State signee) and making the statement that Colon was going to make waves this season and he took the success from the June GHSA Team camp and carried it into our Summer Showcase (See Videos Below).  Colon is one of GA’s best on ball defenders who has the ability to get under your opposing ball handler’s skin night in and night out. From his sophomore to his junior year he really made himself into a complete player and not only one of GA’s best defenders but one of GA’s best outside shooters with multiple games where he lit it up from 3 having a season high 8 3’s made performance vs Marietta early in the season.  His improved shooting from 3 has helped open up his overall game as he is able to put it on the floor when crowded at 3 and get into the paint to create for others.

2021 Joseph Scott (Denmark)

6’6 Scott helped Denmark make a deep run for the 2nd consecutive year losing to eventual State Champion Woodward academy in the Final Four.  A strong finisher at the rim who can get out and make plays in transition. In the half court Scott is a knock down 3 pt shooter and can get to the rim with limited dribbles when he attacks.  Outside of just what Scott brings to the table as a player on the court what stands out just as much is him being an overall great teammate and his constant effort to get better. After avg 10ppg/7rpg as a Junior I expect Scott to really make some noise this summer heading into his Senior Campaign

Top Games include: 18p/5r vs Buford, 17p vs Flower Branch, 11p/10r vs Furtah Prep, 10p/11r vs Dawson, 17p/10r vs Lagrange, 11p/10r Upson Lee
