Saturday Top Performers-The Final Run

The first season of the On The Radar Hoops Circuit comes full circle this weekend as we take a look at some of the top performers from Saturday of the final weekend of the travel basketball season.

By Kris Watkins:

2027 Jordan Wiseman-Sewer South

Wiseman is always one of the first names I mention when talking to college coaches. He plays as hard if not harder than anyone I have watched all spring/summer. His motor is through the roof on both ends of the floor. His end to end speed in transition when the ball is in his hands is elite. Can really rebound from the guard position and you do not want to get caught sleeping when he is slashing to the basket because he will put you in the rim.

2026 Connor Teasley-Team Person

Teasley has proven to be arguably the top guard on the On The Radar Circuit this season. Simply stated he is just really good at basketball. Sometimes it looks a little unorthodox with his floaters and pull ups but he has elite hand eye coordination and can pull up out of nowhere off the dribble and that is what makes his game so unique. He has proven versus the top independent and top shoe teams that he produces at a high level. He has gotten taller and stronger over the last year and it helps him take bumps inside and finish at the basket. His range from 3 stretches deep off the dribble or in catch and shoot situations. Most importantly his commitment on the defensive end of the floor this summer is what should have him on Division I coaches recruiting boards.

2028 Karon Plummer-Warner Robbins All Stars

With a game already well beyond his years the 6’4 Plummer has cemented himself as a player to watch in GA moving forward. In the 8:30am game he came out ready to play scoring on a variety of drives where he got all the way to the rim and finished through defenders. His jumper looks smooth from 3 hitting multiple in the game.

2026 Torian Greene-Georgia Canes

Green was one of the top defensive guards on the On the Radar Circuit this season creating havoc all game as an on the ball defender in the half court and full court. He is a plug and play guard being able to play on or off the ball. He is unselfish on the offensive end making the quick extra pass keeping the offense flowing. His on the ball scoring has really improved this summer as he got to the rim multiple times where his strength in his shoulders lets him finish through contact and his pull up jumper looked good as well.

2027 Whitfield Bynoe-Sunshine Elite

Bynoe is a big part of a stacked Sunshine Elite squad that has been one of the top team on the On the Radar Hoops circuit. Bynoe knows when to score and when to set up his teammates and lets the offense come to him consistently knocking down shots from 3 or putting the ball on the floor where he isn’t afraid to get into the lane. He finished with 21pts (5 3’s made) in a semi final win over Sewer South.

2026 Westin Keppen-Hoop Atlanta

The first thing opposing teams better have on the scouting report about Keppen is he is a SHOOTER. He is ready to shoot every time he catches it and he has a quick release because so much of the prep work in his lower body and feet is done before the ball even gets swung to him. His shooting ability makes him effective off the ball but he has also shown to have great court vision when the ball is in his hands being able to thread the seams for assist to his teammates. He finished with 20pts (6 3’s made) in a win over the Tennessee Panthers.

2028 Austin Dennard-FEA

Dennard is a left handed, high energy, bruising force inside. He gets off the ground quick and uses his length to secure rebounds. He had multiple and 1 put backs during the game and was huge for FEA especially in the second half where he scored in the paint, from the free throw line, and drives attacking from the high post.

2027 Kaleb Johnson-Devin Butts Elite

Standing at 6’8 Johnson is one of the better shot blockers I have watched this spring. He not only protects the rim, but can slide his feet in switches and alter shots of perimeter players. On the offensive end he really has some tools that make him a name to keep on coaches list to track over the next high school season. He has shown the ability to knock down the 3 and hit jumpers consistently from the high and mid post areas of the floor. He can score inside with his back to the basket and is good on the offensive glass. He should be one of Georgia’s bigger stock risers this year.
