Summer Notebook-August 4th, 2025

Over last 4 months we have had the opportunity to host 2 individual Player Showcase Events, 2 HS Team Events with 90+ Teams attending. We have also had the chance to attend the GBCA June Open Period Events, and cover 225+ Games on the On The Radar Hoops Circuit. Over the next 2 month we will be posting recaps of the top performers and overlooked prospects we have seen during this time.

By Kris Watkins:

2026 Vincent Kray

Kray is a high academic prospect who carries a 4.2GPA to go along with 34 ACT Score. He plays the game with a great deal of energy on both ends of the floor. He is extremely active on the glass and does a good job of blocking shots without fouling. On the offensive end he is a hybrid forward who can attack larger defenders from the perimeter or score over smaller defenders in the paint. He has a good handle for his size. His size, versatility on offense, and work in the classroom makes him a prospect coaches need to have their eyes on heading into his senior season.

2026 Justin Cunningham

He comes into his senior season as a player to watch after a strong summer. A highly efficient table setter who is able to get into the paint and find open teammates. He averaged 17ppg/7apg/3rpg/3apg on the OTRHoops Circuit. He has a really good handle and is able to produce on the offensive end without turning the ball over. He does a good job of unselfishly pitching it ahead in transition. Has a good change of direction when he gets into the elbow area where he scores on a variety of spin moves and up and under finishes. He creates contact on his drives and stays under control to finish in the paint. Can really fill it up from 3 and isn’t afraid to take the big shot. Has proven he can stop and pop in the midrange especially around the free throw line area. Puts in good effort on defensive end of the floor and has shown ability to really guard length of the floor and has quick hands.

2026 Duor Duor

Continues to improve from when I saw him early in the HS Season. Ball skill has really become more fluid attacking off the bounce makes him a true mismatch problem continually breaking down his defender. Due to his size opposing teams put their PF/C on him and the defense can’t keep him from getting downhill. If the defender decides to play a step off he has shown he can hit the pull up jumper especially in the elbow area and shot it well from 3 on spot ups. Really excels as a help side defender as he had multiple blocks. His upside is high when you see plays where he blocks a shot on one end then goes length of the floor and finishes the offensive possession on the other.

2026 Zeki Locus

Avg 13.4ppg/9rpg/5.8apg/3.8spg during his Junior season in route to being named Region Co-Player of the year. He is a tough nosed guard who is a lock down on the ball defender who really rebounds for his position. Simply put he is a winning basketball player who always seems to be in the right place at the right time whether it is a offensive rebound, defensive deflection, or playmaking assist to a teammate. His full skill set was on display the GBCA June event where he averaged 11.75ppg/9.7rpg/4.5apg. What makes him really standout is his ability to get the defensive rebound then immediately help generate transition offense pushing the tempo for his team. When he gets out in transition he is difficult to contain and in the half court he consistently generates paint touches.

2026 Colby Mullinax

Mullinax was one of the most efficient offensive players at our Summer Showcase. His jumper is very smooth and consistent from all over the floor. He plays the game at his own pace and lets the offense come to him if he gets any space you assume the shot is going in. Really like how he moves on offense being a willing cutter to the basket and he can catch on cuts in the midpost and score on turn around jumpers. Poised for a big senior season after being named 1st Team All Region as a Junior.
