6’5 Jalen Boston (Heritage)

Averaging 15pp/8rpg on the season.  He has been a key contributor on the Varsity level throughout his high school career.  He has always been known as a player who plays hard and finishes through contact in the paint and does a lot of damage around the high post and in which he uses his strong upper body to punish defenders.  He is really impactful on the glass, especially the offensive glass.  He has worked to improve his perimeter skill set over the last 2 years and he showed an improved spot up 3 point shot this season and an improved ability to put the ball on the floor and attack from the wing and score at the rim with his strength and a variety of spin moves inside.

6’3 Anthony Arrington (Galloway School)

Heading into the holiday break Arrington was averaging 25.1ppg/12.1rpg/3.7apg/3.2spg with his top performances to that point coming in a 36 point/11reb outing in a win over Denmark and a 24point/15reb/4ast/3stl outing in a win over GAC.  He is producing at a level as good as any available guard in GA right now and proved it over the holiday break going for 25points/17reb in a game he played the 5 for a shorthanded Galloway team, a 19point/11reb game vs Dacula, and 26point/14reb/4ast/3stl outing vs Kell.  Needless to say Arrington’s numbers speak for themselves.  At the next level he can play either on or off the ball effectively.  He produces at a high rate of efficiency in his shot attempts and is unselfish and is one of GA’s best rebounders from the guard position.  He has always stood out over the last few years in his ability to get to his spot in the midrange with limited dribbles and score in transition but really is showing this year is his willingness to take more attempts from 3. You can tell he has really worked on it and his confidence is really showing.  Having been a 40% career shooter from 3 but this year he has up ticked his attempts and is taking/making difficult shots from 3 on a consistent basis while still shooting at the same highly efficient 40%+ from range.  College programs looking for a high level guard that produces need to have Arrington at the top of their list.

6’6 Robert Dix (The Skill Factory)

Dix will be spending the 2nd half of his Senior year playing with The Skill Factory out of Atlanta, do not be surprised if he sees a large uptick in his recruitment over the next few months.  After a productive summer playing with GA Legacy and holding his own vs the Nation’s Top Independent teams and numerous shoe teams he has proven himself as a player Division I and Top Division II schools need to be recruiting.  He has great size/length on the wing and uses his first step and variety of spins in the lane to finish through contact.  He already has a great frame and will continue to get stronger once he enters college.  He projects as a secondary ball handler at the next level in the half court and his size and rebounding from the Wing to go along with his finishing is what makes him so intriguing long term.

6’5 Damoni Harrison (Archer High School)

Has consistently been scoring 20+ per night for one of GA’s top programs in Archer High School.  Having always been known as a slasher and defender the thing that has really stuck out the most this season is his improved outside shot from 3 which is a testament to the work he has been putting in on his games.  He does a great job using his and athleticism when he gets into the paint to finish at the rim and can hang through contact for tough finishes. Having picked up recent offers from Cleveland State CC and South GA Tech to go with previous offers from Clayton State, Maryville, and Voorhees this list should grow during the second half of his senior season.

5’10 Dajaun Devonish (Etowah High School)

At the college level he will be successful playing both on and off the ball.  One of GA’s more underrated guards can excel on or off the ball.  Doesn’t really waste dribbles nice crossover to get by his defender can rise up quickly, especially at the elbows.  Crafty finisher around the rim Not afraid to take a charge.  High Academic prospect who continually makes his teammates better.  He has proven himself over the last few years watching him play numerous top level teams with his OTP travel team where he continually held his own/out performed highly touted guards and his high school team at Etowah has one of GA’s toughest schedules this year and he has already had numerous good showings this far into his senior season.

6’10 Elijah Chol (Forsyth Central)

-I got a chance to watch Chol a few weeks ago at the #CherokeeForsythClassic (Click Here to read a full breakdown of his game). He has to be one of GA’s most intriguing prospects due to his ever developing skill set, legit size, and his fluidity in his movements on both ends of the floor. He is currently averaging 20ppg/7rpg/6bpg on the season.
